My review is for the manga series as a whole. The anime didn't follow the manga and was therefore lacking a lot of substance.
I can't recommend this series enough. I immediately had reservations as it seemed overly Christian or Catholic. The show is, but the manga is Buddhist. If you enjoy manga/anime along the lines of Hunter X Hunter or Yu Yu Hakusho, this series is a great option.
The series is fun, complicated, sweet, and filled with interesting characters. They are all complex individuals and you get to see them grow throughout the series.
I'm obsessed.
