A great book if you live in Napa County or are planning to visit there. It's helpful and quicker if you don't have to choose between similar species that don't even occur in the area. Really good accurate pictures.

The author/illustrator is very talented and makes that evident in this small, but comprhensive for this area, regional bird guide. The information is valuable, relatively complete and the drawings excellent. That, plus the convenient size, and the low price make it a steal.
