Aspiring jewelry designer Maria Santos, proud but poor, has come to Aristo to win a royal commission. Cold, calculating Prince Alexandros Karedes masterfully beds Maria, thinking she's only sleeping with him to save her business. So when Alexandros discovers Maria is pregnant, he assumes it's on purpose. She'll never be a suitable wife--but she's perfect mistress material. What will it take for this billionaire prince to realize he's falling for his pregnant mistress?
Jewelry designer Maria Santos came to Aristio hoping to win a royal commission when she met the man of her dreams. Her dream becomes a nightmare when Alexandros turns out to be Prince Alexandros Karedes, the queen's son, and he thinks Maria used him to get the commission. Months later, in the name of revenge, Alexandros has a proposition for Maria that could make or break her career. Alexandros has Maria exactly where he wants her - in his bed. Once he has his fill of her, Alexandros plans to toss Maria out...again. Only he wasn't counting on falling in love with her. Although the Billionaire Prince, Pregnant Mistress may be typical for a Harlequin romance title, the story is anything but ordinary. Sultry, sensual, and romantic, Billionaire Prince, Pregnant Mistress is an angst-filled romance that tells the story of a man and woman whose intense attraction goes much deeper than lust. Their love threatens to change the course of centuries of tradition. Alexandros' plan to take what he wants from Maria is underhanded and forbiddingly erotic. Maria's resistance is futile when faced with Alexandros' sexual potency. I love the raw sensuality and eroticism in Billionaire Prince, Pregnant Mistress. The angst is just right and the storyline is excellent. Nannette Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

This is a real Cinderella Story complete with a Puerto Rican- American from the Bronx no less. I thought it was awesome. The heroine is Maria Santos a very talented jewelry designer who is invited to the kingdom to design Queen Tia's 60th birthday piece of jewelry. She meets prince Alexandros and in true Harlequin fashion they hit it off and have sex, she was a virgin. In the morning Alex hears her talking to someone on the phone saying that her chances are great at winning, he jumps to the conclusion that she just bedded him for the job and sends her packing. She didn't get the price that day but the jeweler that was chosen had to be dropped so eventually Alexandros had to get to NYC and bring her back and he does but not just as the jeweler but forcing her to be his mistress. I like Maria, she's no push over, she's just like Jenny from the block! I read it in one day.
