I absolutely love this book. This is the very first Romance novel I read when I was 15 years old and it is still one of my favorites. First of all, I fell in love with the characters. I get so tired of the bubblegum romance that follows the same tired, predictable plot and has the same flat characters. It gets old. I found Bay and Anne very well developed, round characters. I particularly fell hard for Bay. His love for his child makes your heart ache and you just want to see him happy. Also, it's easy to relate to his longing for Anne and the conflicts that prevent him from acting on it. There is good psychology behind the characters and I feel they act in accordance to their background. There romance is of a more realistic kind than others I have seen and they actually develop a relationship. There love grows gradually rather than the sudden unrealistic love at first sight in so many other novels with a nice amount of sexual tension that makes a romance novel so great. The love scenes are also verra nice! (tasteful and steamy) You can tell the author put a lot of thought and care into the writing of this book. I have recommended this particular book to several of my friends and they have all loved it whether they are big romance readers or not. If you like this book, I recommend reading the other 3 in the series. This is actually book 3 and the other are just as awesome. I also recommend Ballenrose, and Jericho's Daughter by this same author.

What a wonderful read!. Couldn't put it down. Bravo! Anne and Bay are truely unforgetable characters.
