If one kept track of the hugely entertaining Democratic National Convention (it had Sheryl Crow,Dave Matthews,and Kanye West as part of the musical lineup) in Denver,Obama was described as "wiping away the tears of the afflicted" (by John Warner,R-Virginia) and that he'd "help you achieve your hopes and dreams" (by his half-sister) If you're lucky,you can find a video of blue-shirted children singing the praises of their Beloved Leader. "Barack Obama is Your New Bicycle" has corkers such as- Barack Obama made tomato soup and grilled cheese for you Barack Obama checked for monsters under your bed Barack Obama commented on your blog Barack Obama favorited you (What about "Barack Obama makes change for you?") I stumbled across this at Barnes & Noble and consequently stood there in the aisle giggling for about half an hour. This book is very lighthearted and somehow really hilarious in its simplicity-- what's most amusing is that I can actually imagine Barack in all these slightly ridiculous situations just being awesome and helpful. Naturally!

Barack Obama wrote this review for me. Regardless of your political views, this collection will make you laugh. It's absurd and witty, ironic yet...hopeful. This is not just an issue of a black man asking for change--this is history people, and it's gonna be the four (eight) nicest years ever. Somewhere out there, somewhere near where you are sitting right now, this country has a pulse and this little book has its finger right on it. [This is awesome]

Barack Obama bought me a copy of this book. The book, as simple as it is, is a great conversation starter and creates smile after smile. At worst, it's a great coffee table litmus test to detect the political leanings of guests to your home, and at best it's a great conversation starter, enticing people to outdo each other with their own "Barack Obama is my..." quotes. What is Barack Obama to you?
