I found this book to be one of the best gifts I have recently given. I gave several copies to friends over the holidays. My sister-in-law called specifically to say she enjoyed the stories written with the Bible verses as much as the receipes. Though I am not a cook, I find myself reading the receipes after I have read the story. It is nice to have a small inexpensive gift that you are assured the receiver will enjoy. Thank you for having this book on your site.

Really enjoyed this book, especially since it is much more than just a traditional cookbook! Along with a wide range of food recipes (appetizers to main dishes to desserts), the utter delight of the book is the down-to-earth stories that accompany each thematic Bible verse. If you enjoy reading about wholesome and often humorous episodes and would like to get ideas for new recipes, you will love Susie Siegfried's inspirational book.
