Outstanding introduction to Encore

As anyone who has used Encore can testify, it is not the easiest program to learn. But once you've begun to learn it, the results can be stunning. When I first began to read this book, I didn't really understand it (no frame of reference), but as I continued to play with the program and refer back to the book, I found it to be an excellent resource of knowledge for someone just getting started with Encore. The author obviously has a wonderful understanding of Encore and how it works. Even though this book was written for Encore 1.0 and I have v 1.5, I found it very helpful in discovering and tapping into the power of Encore. Highly recommended.
Excellent QuickStart Guide

I've been reading QuickStart guides for years, and this one holds up to the challenge: get people off to a "Quick Start" with the application and let them run from there.The book covers all of the essentals needed to get you going with Encore and offers some tips along the way. Encore has an amazing feature set, and I am sure that there will be more in-depth books with cds in the future, but if you're a self-starter type, this one will get you up to speed enough to try the tricky stuff right away.
