And though he's vowed never to marry and have children of his own, he's perplexed by his need to help make her life easier. This is by far the wittiest yet of Ms. Oakley's books. What a delight! Jemima has a wicked sense of humour and lets Miles see that she's not at all impressed with his devastating good looks or flirtatious manner. Watching how Jemima would do anything for those she loved makes Miles yearn for more in his life. Though filled with many laugh out loud moments, this is a heartwarming love story. One I know I'll be happy to read again and again! :D
