this work is what makes it more worthwhile to expend energy absorbing this info and applying it rather than slamming the holographic pantomines of (largely Llewellyn-flavoured) fluff bunny wicca. if anything, lightly carbonated teen wicca is at least a better alternative than what the Church has to offer. or the mega McChurches..... back to the point. even if you aren't a strict wiccan, there is much to harvest here. for the heartfelt, the hardy and the untamed. beautiful work.

I've not read the book as of yet, however, when I met and shook hands with Rev. Beyerl this morning, he seemed very alive to me. I'll be buying the book from him next week. I hope he's just as well then too :)
It's a travesty that this should go out of print

A Wiccan Bardo by Paul Beyerl is an in-depth look at the Lothlorien tradition of Wicca. This book analyzes in detail more than just the surface beliefs of the Craft: it describes ritual, including how and why every action takes place. It gives a system of training, music, everything a person could possibly want to know about his tradition of Wicca. Since Beyerl's passing I have noticed an unfortunate loss of interest in his work. I urge anyone seriously interested in Wicca to explore anything written by this man possible -- what he offered to the world is incredible.
Highly recommended

One of the few books on Wicca to move beyond the beginner level. Includes good stuff on death and dying, and a tight, challenging outline of training
