A Poverty of Words, by Frederick Pollack (Prolific Press Inc. 2015), is an important and relevant publication of American Poetry by one of the finest living poets today. Frederick Pollack was born in Chicago; he lived for many years in California but it didn't take. He now lives and teaches in Washington, DC. Pollack's books, "The Adventure" and "Happiness," are both book-length narrative poems (Story Line Press). More of his work can be found in various journals and publications each year.
