Another Bravo hero and is he HOT! Luke runs the Bravo Ridge horse program for Quarter Horses. Getting woken up in the middle of night by a stable hand that one of the prize stallions has hurt himself Luke needs the vet. Enter our heroine, Dr. Mercedes Cabrera, her adoptive family is the arch-enemies of the Bravos-they have had a feud for over 60 years now. Luke's great-grandfather had won La Hoya Hacienda and the surrounding 100 acres from Mercy's patriarch and James proceeded to tear down the hacienda and built a mansion with white pillars, in fact Luke lives there. They have been starring in each other's dreams for some years but never gotten close till that night. Against Mercy's better judgment they start carrying on an affair but it seems to be more for both of them. Though there are several twists and turns and Mercy's not sure about it she knows she's in love with Luke and he returns that love, they seem to have their own Romeo and Juliet story--Ms Rimmer tells us about wanting the R & J love story without the death in her ReaderLetter and she gave it to us!
