Have cats? This book is for you

I share my home with two DSH cats, both being rescures. My female loves to play fetch, peek-a-boo, and gives kisses with her big green eyes. My male was abused when he was a kitten by a previous horrible owner, who used to kick him. This book has helped me understand him through his behavior and his body language. He still is cautious of our feet, when we walk by him, but he now loves to be held and kissed, as long as we are sitting down. Every page of this book was informative and also very funny. I've had cats in my life for over 25 years, and after reading this book, I've learned so many new and exciting things. This book is a must.

Having read this book, I find that I am much closer to my cat than before - I really can understand more of what she is, and has been, trying to tell me. VERY INFORMATIVE!!!

Don't let the cover fool you, this is a really great book, easy reading. Written in plain English, not clinical or overly scientific. Taught me alot of things I wasn't aware of before and will use in caring for my kitty. I now look at my kitty differently and watch his body language with new insight. I would recommend it for all cat owners especially first time owners.

Ever since I got Lily, my first cat ever, I've been buying kitten/cat care books and magazines like a madman just so I know that I'm giving the best to my Persian pet. In six months I have accumulated over a dozen books and this is the first time that I found one book with EVERYTHING I REALLY NEEDED to know about cats (care, health, playtime, training, behavior, etc! etc!) without sounding too clinical or boring. The money-saving tips were especially helpful and I'm sure you'll have a blast with the funny anecdotes as well. "277 secrets," they say? I didn't count, but it seemed to me there were more than 277 included in the book!
