For those who don't have time for a total makeover, self-help guru Pamela Redmond Satran shows how to do just a little tweaking. Her humorous and gentle prods to becoming good enough provide the kind of goals most women realistically can achieve. (Self-Help)
It's not your everyday self help book. It's a quick, fun read with some very practical, down-to-earth advice tidbits.
Fabulous Self-Help Guide!

I expected this book to be interesting and maybe amusing - but at times, it was laugh out loud funny! That was a real bonus. But maybe the best thing about this book is that you really *can* make these changes. In the "11 Things Women Could Learn from Men" list, there's "How to walk away from a dirty kitchen." After having read countless "How to Keep Your Kitchen Spotless" guides, I really needed to hear that. (Because, yes, sometimes you need to walk away.) And her financial, relationship and health tips are dead on, too - actionable, straightforward and fun. It's a lovely book to buy for yourself or a friend.
great ideas and a few laughs

i did enjoy most of the lists i have read from the book. the book is divided into topics of interest so they are easy to choose. the financial tips are good- wish there were a few more! other than that the book is witty and a nice light read.
